About:
Team Fortress® 2 (TF2) is the sequel to the game that put class-based, multiplayer team warfare on the map. This year's most anticipated online action game, TF2 delivers new gametypes, a signature art style powered by Valve's next generation animation technology, persistent player statistics, and more.

Unlike other "class-based" games that offer a variety of combat classes only, Team Fortress 2 packs a wild variety of classes which provide a broad range of tactical abilities and personalities, and lend themselves to a variety of player skills.

Play as the flame-throwing Pyro, the room clearing Heavy, or the Spy, a master of disguises. Other classes include: Scout, Sniper, Medic, Engineer, Demoman, or Soldier.

TF2 features the most advanced graphics of any Source-based game released to date - and the most exciting class-based action ever created.

System Requirements
Minimum: 1.7 GHz Processor, 512MB RAM, DirectX® 8 level Graphics Card, Windows® Vista/XP/2000, Mouse, Keyboard, Internet Connection

Recommended: Pentium 4 processor (3.0GHz, or better), 1GB RAM, DirectX® 9 level Graphics Card, Windows® Vista/XP/2000, Mouse, Keyboard, Internet Connection

In my opinion, if you wanna have fun with your friends, this is the game to buy. Worthless fun time guaranteed.
If any1 have a Steam account, and wanna play, invite Derwishe (that's me :P )

I heard that TF2 was extremely enjoyable, which I was surprised at. Being an CS oldies fan, I was initially disgusted by TF2's cartoonish graphics, but since everyone who's played it has said it's awesome, I'm starting to have second thoughts.

And you generally find that it is men, who are far more romantic. They are the people who you'll hear say, "I've found somebody. She's amazing. If I don't-if I don't get to be with this person, I'd fuck it. I can't carry on. She's totally transformed my life, I have a job, I have a life, it means nothing, I can't stand it, I have to be with her. Because if I don't I'll be bed sick, I'll be alcoholic, I can't! I can't walk the streets anymore.'"-and THAT, is how women, feel about shoes.

I enjoy both. You can also get them really cheap, and they have sales for them often. TF2 and Left 4 Dead are possibly my 2 favorite FPS's

You might want to wait for a L4D + L4D 2 pack or something, otherwise, yes they are worth it.

I can't really get into shooters any more. The only one I play now a days in Battlefield 2, which I know is old as dirt, but I like it more then games like Call of Duty because I still have friends that play it.

Other then that game, the last shooter I think I touched was Aliens vs Predator 2, and that game was awesome for reasons I can't really describe because it was far from a balanced game in my opinion.

Sorry for necroing, but i have something to say in connection with Team Fortress 2.

I had an account at counter-strike.com gameserver provider, wanted to cancel that, but i was on vacation, so my order got renewed. That's a 12 slot Team Fortress warserver, and i'd like to sell that for someone. The pings are good, but it's hosted in Europe, Frankfurt, Germany. The initial price was 28$, I'd sell for 18$, that's 2 months + 1 week uptime. Send me a PM if interested.
